Little Summer Goals

summer

Walk to the grocery store: I have a confession…there is a really great little grocery store five blocks from my house, my house that I have lived in for three and a half years…and I’ve never once walked there. Now that I’m working from home, I don’t need to drive anywhere on a daily basis, so there’s no reason I should be jumping in my car to go a few blocks. From now on, I’m walking!

Read Small Business for Dummies: It’s been sitting on my shelf for six months. I own two small businesses. Yeah…I should probably read it.

Nifty Nines every day: We do this fantastically horribly painfully awesome ab workout in aerial class. It’s nine exercises, you do 10 or 20 of each, get really sweaty and end up with rock hard abs.

Do you have any little goals you’ve made this summer?

Walking to the grocery store is a great goal. I also have one about 4 blocks from my house… but I do sometimes give in and take the car if I am planning on getting a big load of groceries. Walking with too much stuff even for a few blocks kind of sucks. Don’t forget your reusable bags!

My goals for the summer are to crochet a blanket, and finally clean out my mess of a closet.

I went last night since I only needed a few things and it wasn’t too bad. Brought my own bags too :)

Good luck on your goals – I made a blanket a few years ago and it’s still my favorite :)

Can you do a tutorial on the Nifty 9s ab workout! I’d love to start doing it too, I need a new ab workout and I’m sure if you do it for aerial its pretty intense!
