This week was for a day at the beach building sandcastles and then the weather turning cold enough for boots and a leather jacket, taking my hair back to black, starting our fall aerial session at the studio and working on a duo lyra routine with two students, staying in bed as long as possible, talking business with sushi and fancy-pants drinks, the new seasons of Sons of Anarchy and The Mindy Project (and Parenthood is coming back!), planning for Theatre Bizarre (we’re gonna be totally unrecognizable again), and mad sugar cravings.

I was glued to my iPhone Friday night from 10pm to 3am finishing The Maze Runner and now I’m excited to start the next book in the series, The Scorch Trials. Totally recommend for those of you who loved The Hunger Games or Divergent :)

I loved The Maze Runner, especially the imagery he created. I was, however, disappointed in the direction the series took. I liked the second book and the third was when I decided I wasn’t going to read the prequel he created.

I’m just about to start the second one and read the description on Amazon – now I’m already thinking it’s not gonna be as good as the first. I loved how I had no idea what was going on for a good part of The Maze Runner – made it more creepy.
