Bragging about the Badass Babes

Badass Babes Blog Club + E-CourseToday’s post is pretty much gonna be me bragging :)

I’m so proud of what the Badass Babes Blog Club + E-Course has turned into. When I created the course and the community, I wasn’t entirely sure what I’d end up with. It was my first time creating anything this extensive. I had high hopes for it could be, but it would depend on the women who signed up to actually participate and bring it to life. We’re only two sessions in and I’m already blown away!

Running the hangouts is always a highlight of my week. It was very important to me, when building this community, that it would be a space where women would be able to work together. I was tired of all the jealousy and cattiness I was seeing on Twitter. I don’t know if it’s the community or these ladies, but they’re so supportive and excited to help each other. Anytime someone shares a new project or a launch it turns into an amazing focus group with great ideas and constructive criticism. Even I end up learning new things and getting inspired!

And of course it makes me feel great to see the improvements all of the women are making and hearing that they’re seeing results and feeling more confident online.

So yeah, giant shout out to all of my Badass Babes!! (You can meet them all here)

If this sounds like the community for you, join the email list and I’ll let ya know when registration will open again! (likely end of August, early Sept)

I have to take a peek at the student directory and “meet” everyone. :) I love the premise of the club … I think one of the next rounds, I might have to join. I’m in a dilemma now of trying to decide whether to keep my business and blog separate, or combine them, and then if I do that, how much I have to reign in the focus of my blog … ugh. I find it SO overwhelming and could really use some people to bounce ideas off of. Would the club be a good setting for that, you think? Also… and I’ve been hesitant to ask this, would it be awkward if my business is also in the web design/dev space? I look at it as we’re all in this together and to learn from each other, and there’s a different designer/developer who’s a good fit for every client… but I don’t want to step on any toes either! :)

I’d love to have to join us. The club is really good for figuring out your direction and narrowing your focus. No worries about being a designer too – we can definitely learn from each other.

So glad to hear (read) that! Hopefully I can free myself up to jump in on the next round then! (In the middle of home renovations now, which is eating up SO much of my time! – Whew!) — Thanks!!

Aw, thanks for the love, Sarah! I’ve had a blast being a part of the club. Even during this crazy year it’s been a fantastic resource for me, and kept me moving forward. :)

Mandi, I would ABSOLUTELY encourage you to join! This community is an amazing support group, perfect for feedback and brainstorming. I love all the women in the Badass Babes Blog Club, and have learned from every one of them.
