2015 is just days away and if I know you at all, you’ve already started a growing list of ideas and goals for the new year. Whether you’re a hobby blogger or building your online empire, all of us can use a little support in knocking out those goals.
I know I’m not the only one who has found myself in an 11:30pm panic trying to make a decision or troubleshoot a problem. Having a few online communities I can jump into for help has been a giant stress reliever and massively inspiring as well. I’ve been able to meet motivated and hard-working women I probably wouldn’t have crossed paths with otherwise, see what other entrepreneurs are working on, ask questions, and get feedback.
Being a solopreneur and working from home, I no longer feel like I have to figure it all out on my own, and you shouldn’t either! So, here are eight communities to help you find support and knock out those blogging and business goals . . .
Firework People is a community of women with big dreams and burning passion to do something awesome. Join the Facebook group and weekly Twitter chats on Tuesday at 9pm EST and Thursday at 2pm EST (#fireworkpeople)all about supporting women and creating collaboration.
The Freedom Hackers Facebook group, run by punk rock business coach Kimra Luna, is the spot for business owners and entrepreneurs starting their business online. Great spot for technical questions on sales pages, webinars, and Facebook ads.
House of Bliss
The House of Bliss community meets each Thursday at 9pm EST via Twitter chat (#blisschat) to discuss all things small biz, freelance, and blogging. Ask questions, meet other blogging and biz ladies, and get a ton of great tips to build your biz online.
Babes Making Things
Babes Making Things is the uber supportive Facebook group from Kara Haupt and the Babe Vibes crew. This is the perfect place for creative ladies to chat about doing awesome things while taking care of yourself and supporting each other.
Run by the ever-smart and feisty Rebecca Tracy, The Uncaged Life Facebook community is made up mostly of business and life coaches, but there are also plenty of designers, writers, and small business owners who have or are hoping to escape the 9 to 5.
This one isn’t open quite yet, but if I’ve learned anything from what Kyla has produced in the past…it’s gonna be good. The Daring Creative Workshop & Community gives creatives support and education in building blogs, brands, and businesses online.
Freelance to Freedom Project
Calling all freelancers looking for a little support. The Freelance to Freedom Facebook group is the spot to ask questions, share advice and find inspiration from other fantastic freelancers brought to you by designer Leah Kalamakis.
And of course…The Badass Babes Blog Club
This is my group of brilliant blogging babes building businesses, growing blogs, and doing awesome things online. It’s like a big close-knit, supportive, and damn funny focus group. The Google+ community is open only to those who take the Badass Babes E-Course and lucky for you, registration will be opening again in just a few weeks!
I hope one of these groups (or maybe a bunch of them!) sound up your alley, help you knock out those goals, and feel like you’ve got a crew of badass babes on your side year round!
Any other cool communities I should know about??
